If you are using what3words, search ///file.across.catchers and this will take you directly to our entrance. Alternatively, exit the M11 at Stansted Airport and join the A120 east towards Colchester. After approximately 5 miles exit the A120 at the Dunmow West junction taking the B1256 to Great Dunmow. Follow signposts to Thaxted/B184 for approximately 6 miles. Upon entering Thaxted take the first road to the right signposted “The Bardfields”. Upon leaving Thaxted take the first road to the left signposted “Finchingfield & Lt Sampford”. Continue along minor roads, following signposts for “Finchingfield”. Join the B1053 and turn right towards Finchingfield. We are the first property on the right-hand side on a sharp bend. Our workshops are accessed by a tree lined driveway adjacent to the Hawkins Hill sign

To reach us by train from London take the Stansted Express from London Liverpool Street or Tottenham Hale. Stansted Express trains leave London Liverpool Street every 15 minutes and it is a direct line taking 50 minutes. Trains also run from Cambridge to Stansted. Taxis can be found at the front entrance of the airport, or we can arrange a collection.

London Stansted is our most local airport being only 11 miles away. Alternatively, we are approximately 80 miles from both London Heathrow and Gatwick airports. Taxis and hire cars are readily available at all these airports.
