Motor Meet 2022

Thank you to everyone who attended our Motor Meet on Saturday 9th July.  We were absolutely delighted to welcome so many friends and enthusiasts to our workshops on what proved to be an idyllic summer’s day and a fantastic gathering.

Our workshops were open all day and our team greatly enjoyed the opportunity to meet and speak with so many people.  As well as demonstration running of a number of vehicles, visitors were also able to experience short rides in a 1909 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, a 1900 Panhard et Levassor M4E, and a 1904 Columbia Electric.  These proved very popular indeed!  Further adding to the day, ‘Craftsman’s Corner’ provided visitors with an opportunity to meet and observe some of the traditional specialists who add authenticity to the restoration work carried out by ourselves. The atmosphere during the whole event was delightful with local singers Fox, Wiggle and Sass bringing an extra something to the occasion with their eclectic, swinging feel good music.

However, the real highlight of the day was the visitors car park.  It was an absolute marvel to see such a range of veteran, vintage and post-vintage cars gathered together in one place.  There are not many occasions where an Austin Seven will be found parked alongside an ex-Maharajah Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, parked behind a Grand Prix Bugatti…the list is mouth-watering and endless.  Every car and motorcycle in attendance was a delight to see and brought something special to the day.

We feel very privileged to be supported by such a great community of vintage car enthusiasts.  The day was highly enjoyable and we are grateful to everyone who attended as well as our fantastic team, customers, friends and family who made it all possible.
